Frequently used to season traditional chicken or shrimp dishes.
Ingredients:
Garlic, Onion, Turmeric, Sea Salt, Fried Shallots, Cinnamon, Black Peppercorn, Fenugreek Seed, Cumin, Fennel Seed, Chinese Chile, Coriander, Ginger, and Bay Leaf.
Suggested Usage: 2 tablespoons / kg chicken pieces.
Recipe: The chicken pieces are soaked and marinated in spice mixture for some time, then boiled for 15 minutes prior to frying. ‘Ayam goreng’ is usually served with steamed rice or coconut rice, sambal Tarasi, peanut sauces and garnish with cucumber, tomato, pineapple or your favorite tropical fruit.
