Tempero Baiano (in Brazilian Portuguese) is a distinctive and versatile seasoning blend from the Northern Brazilian state of Bahia. Used to add taste, zest and savory flavor to Brazilian meat, fish, chicken and seafood dishes, as well as rice, bean and root vegetables.

It is a wonderful seasoning for broth, soups and stews. Great mixed with a little oil and 
 rub directly on meat & fish before bbq.
