Muscovado Sugar
AKA ‘ Barbados Sugar, Kandasari, Khand'

Dark Muscovado sugar is one of the least refinedcane sugar. When Cane extract is heated, gives off all the moiture content and retains most of its molasses component, giving the sugar a dark brown color and strong molasses flavor along with the texture of wet sand, moist and sticky.

This sugar contains higher levels of various mineralsand antioxidants than processed brown sugar

It adds its molasses flavor in gingerbread, browines and cookies. Excellent for coffee and tea. Also used in flavoring bbq sauce and marinades or glazes for meats.
