King Oyster Mushrooms aka '“Ivory Portabella
Mushrooms,” are trumpet-shaped wild
mushroom cultivated and harvested, sliced
and dried are meaty and have mild, earthy
flavor that easily takes on the flavors of other
ingredients in a dish. Rehydrate and grill,
roast, broil or cook as desired. Marinate
simply in garlic, olive oil, salt and pepper, and
roast in the oven for a delicious pizza topping.
Reconstitute: Rinse throughly and soak in
boiling water for 15-20 min, agitating
occasionally, drain and rinse. Or, rinse and
add directly to any recipe that will cook for at
least 25 minutes.
