Lingot Beans, a premium strain of cannellini bean (Cannellini Lingot). Beans are oval & slightly flattened white beans. It has a tender outer skin, when cooked becomes soft and plump, has soft, creamy texture and a rich, buttery flavor. Used in bean soup, stews, cassoulet and as a side dish or in salads,

Basic preparation: Wash, rinse & soak overnight. Add 4 Cups of water / Cup of Bean, bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer covered for 50-60 minutes or until tender (add more water as needed). Whisk lightly to remove the floating foam while cooking.

Yield: 2 1/2 cups of cooked beans / Cup of dry beans
