Maida is a plain finely milled Indian bleached and un-enriched white all purpose wheat flour.

Used in Indian cooking for making sweets, pastries, flat breads (nan, kulcha or parathas), Indian sweets, snacks (samosas, panipiri etc), and baking items (kachori, biscuits, toast).

Also used to thicken sauces, creams and pie fillings..
