Cumin, Fennel, Mustard, Fenugreek, Kalunji (Nigella).
To use ground Panch phoron:
In a pan add a few pinches Panch phoran powder in oil or ghee until it releases the aroma. Add your dal, vegetables or meat to the pan, or simply toss other dishes when simmering.
