Teppal is the outer husk of a Indian dried berry, a
variety of Sichuan pepper, grown in Goa &
the rain forests of the West Coast of India.
Intensity: Not hot or pungent.
Flavor & Aroma: Distinct aromatic fragrance, lemon
like flavor, tongue tingling, warm & woody overtone.

Uses: Used for Konkani, Marathi and Goan
vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes, stir- fry &
gravies. Goes best with coconut and fish dishes.
