Benzoin Gum is a resin obtained from a rainforest tree (Styrax benzoin) and has an aroma similar to vanilla when dried. Used as a food additive in baked goods, dairy product and it adds exotic flair to foods.

Acts as a fragrance fixative and preservative in incense, potpourri, colognes and perfumes.
