Carnauba Wax is a Food Grade vegetable wax. Obtained from the leaves of a Brazilian palm tree. It is a good alternative to beeswax. Extremely durable, and dries to a glossy finish, and carry a light characteristic aroma.

Carnauba Wax are used in from cosmetics to food and also as a mold release agent. Mostly used in coating chewing gums to candies to fruit snacks, keeping them shiny and protecting from melting.

Also used in pharmaceutical as a tablet-coating.
