Mexican Oregano related to Vervain family, grows in Central and South America. It has basic pungent flavor of Oregano with a citrusy notes, and is milder than Mediterranean oregano.

Used in Mexican and Central American seasoning blends & dishes including beans, Tex-Mex chili, tacos, stews, salsa. salads and soups.
